Fat Samba Isle of Wight Samba Band UK


	Initially funded by Leader+ rural grant, Platform One brought samba to West Wight late in 2003, introducing many to the exciting carnival rhythms of Brazil. Many locals have joined the developing band and in 2005 the band started to become self autonomous and named themselves FaT Samba, (Freshwater and Totland). We pride ourselves in being a strong community based band, who create a loud and vibrant atmosphere wherever we play. Our gig list encompasses many carnivals and special events such as Gaffers & The Bestival. We are also available for fundraising and charity events as well as private functions.
