Join the Band!
We are a community samba band based in
Freshwater and Totland, Isle of Wight, U.K.
We are always looking for new members
of all abilities and ages!
Our practice nights are on Mondays
from 5.45pm to 8pm
at All Saints School, Freshwater.
Our band members age from 7 to 70+.
You don't need to own or play an instrument
as we offer a full training programme in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere
and will supply the appropiate Instrument, throughout your membership.
Cost is FREE for the first visit to our Rehearsals, thereafter it's £2
per adult Member per Rehearsal attended, Students are £1, under
16s are free.
The fees pay for the cost of the Hall.
FaT Samba play all around the Island
in numerous carnivals and we are proud to support many charitable events
such as Walk the Wight and the Firefighters Extreme Hike Team.

It is hard to play a drum and take photos at the same time!
We can accept them in JPEG format, by Email;
on a CD or DVD; 3 1/2" floppy disk; SD Card; XD Card; Zip Disk
or even a USB Pen drive. (We'll return your Media by return post)
We will need your written consent to use the images
as they will be your copyright until you pass this over to us.
